6.1 Switching the filter unit on/off

The filter unit has a main switch with EMERGENCY-STOP
functionality and an On/Off switch for the motor-pump assem-
bly.

After switching on the pump, monitor the intake characteristic
via the transparent suction hose. If the unit is not pumping
medium after ≈ 5 minutes, pre-fill the pump. Switch the motor
off and fill the pump via the suction hose.

It is not necessary to bleed the filter housing.

12.1

To switch the filter unit on/off, proceed as follows:

The filter element is installed.

The suction and pressure hose are in the corresponding
containers and are secured against falling out.

The filter unit is connected to an adequately mating con-
nector.

Switch the filter unit on at the main switch (12.1).
