Performing maintenance

The standard MRF is equipped without differential pressure display features.

We have several clogging indicators with optical or electrical signal transmitters in our
accessories list.

The clogging indicator displays how high the differential pressure over the filter element
is.

If the clogging indicator is red, the differential pressure is too high, indicating that the
filter element is used up and must be changed. The color green indicates that the the
differential pressure over the filter element is > 2 bar and filtration will take place.

Changing the Filter Element

WARNING

Depressurize the system before performing any

work on it.

To change the filter, proceed as follows:

1.

Switch off the pump and make sure it cannot
be inadvertently switched back on.

2.

Close off the shut-off valve on the suction and
pressure side.

3.

Depressurize the filter housing.

4.

To empty the filter housing, carefully unscrew
the drain screw plug (2) at the bottom end of
the filter bowl in a clockwise direction using a
6 mm Allen wrench.

Collect the escaping fluid with a suitable
container (1).
