M standard convectors come complete with thermostat and
three heat settings; the SC2000
Y
MT model also includes a 24hr timer. The
Scirocco convector heater is ideal for portable heating applications in the
home and office environment. Please read and understand these
instructions before commencing assembly and use, and leave them with
the user when assembly is complete.
1. Important safety points
Only connect the unit to a single-phase supply with a mains voltage as specified
on the rating plate.
Do not carry the appliance by the supply cord.
The supply cord cannot be replaced by the user. If the cord is damaged the
appliance should be returned to the manufacturer or an authorised service agent
for replacement.
Always keep the outlet and inlet grilles clean.
Do not cover the inlet or outlet as it may cause overheating.
Children of less than 3 years should be kept away unless continuously
supervised.
Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall only switch on/off the
appliance provided it has been placed or installed in its intended normal
operating position and they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliance in safe way and understand the hazards
involved. Children aged from 3 years and less than 8 years shall not plug in,
regulate and clean the appliance or perform user maintenance.
Do not use this heater in the immediate surroundings of a bath, a shower or
a swimming pool.
