Product Features
The HD15015 Wall Mounted Hair Dryer is suitable for hotels, gyms and similar applications.
Because all the electrical and heating components are located within the fixed wall mounted body of the
product this unit is generally safer than a portable hair drying appliance.
It remains essential that the unit location is consistent with the product IP rating and that due regard
is paid to the possibility of vandalism.
This model will start and stop automatically when the nozzle is removed from the base and will
automatically switch off after approximately 18 minutes of continuous use. To reset the timer replace
the nozzle.
The HD15015 model features a US/UK/European razor socket and electronic adjustable outlet air
temperature control complete with an LCD display indicating remaining running time and the current
temperature selected.

Technical specification
General
Thank you for purchasing a product from Hyco Manufacturing Ltd.
Please read these guidelines before installation. If in any doubt, seek the advice of a qualified
electrician or call our technical support line on 01977 517555.
Electrical Connection
Connection must be in accordance with the latest Edition of the Wiring Regulations.
The unit is pre-wired with a UK plug, but note that for bathroom use a direct connection to a fused spur
is required.
It is possible to connect a cable directly to the back of the unit so that there is no wiring visible to
the user. There is a knockout disk next to the pre-wired flex exit that is designed to give cable access
for this purpose.
If improved access to the terminal block or cable grip is required it is possible to remove the front
cover by undoing the four recessed screws on the backplate. The terminal block should be accessible
with the cover closed. If it is not, open the cover to re-position in a more convenient location.
Operation
Remove the nozzle from the base unit to start operation.
The green LCD will immediately light up and the dryer will blow warm air at the default temperature
setting of about 60 degrees °C.
To adjust the temperature press the “+” or “-“ buttons on front of the unit.
The current temperature is displayed, along with the remaining minutes before the unit
automatically shuts down.
Clean product by wiping with a damp cloth. Do not use abrasive compounds or solvents.
Technical Support
If you experience difficulties call our technical support on 01977 517555 between
