5.6.2.4 Advance Configurations

Click Address Settings and you will see the following items as shown in the below screen:

Hardware Address and Broadcast Address.

5.6.3 Primary DNS

DNS is the abbreviation for domain name server, domain name system. A database of Internet

names and addresses that translates the names to the official Internet Protocol numbers and vice

versa; the distributed name-and-address mechanism used in the Internet. Primary DNS is the

primary DNS server IP address. You can obtain this from your ISP (For example: 202.67.156.221).

If PPPoE Dialup Networking is used, the Primary DNS will be obtained automatically from the

ISP. This entry can be left blank.

5.6.4 Secondary DNS

It is the secondary DNS server IP address that will be used in the event that the primary DNS
