3.6. The Machine table and base
The machine base consists of a cross table and base
assembly. The machine base is used to hold the work
piece. The table is able to move forward and
backwards, left and right for adjusting and milling the
work piece. The work table is T-slotted to allow the use
of M14 or ½” screws.
Please limit the maximum weight
of the workpiece to 60kgs.Overloading the table may
affect the accuracy of the table.
3.7. Warning Marking
4. Machine Installation
After unpacking, please follow the steps below to install
your machine.
4.1. Positioning the Machine
1. Check to see if the head is secure to the
column with 10mm hex wrench (I-Fig.2).
Warning : Failure to lock the machine head may result
in machine damage or personal injury.
2. Position a belt (with a load capacity about
400kgs) at point as marked J (Fig.3) to lift the
machine. Otherwise you could apply the 4 ring
bolts on the cross table and use them as lifting
points.
3. The head and the worktable of the machine
can be rotated 360
o
, so choose a location with
enough space and solid foundation.
