Mower Preparation
1. Remove the two cap screws that attach the left side of the
rear bumper to the mower frame. Figure 3-13
2. Attach the left side mount to the rear bumper and the
mower frame using the hardware shown. Figure 3-13
3. Repeat steps 1 & 2 for the opposite side. Figure 3-13
4. Attach the bag shield to the left side mount as shown.

5. Attach the pivot mount assembly to the left and right
mounts as shown. Figure 3-13
6. Tighen all hardware.
Final Connection
1. Insert the hood inlet tube into the opening in the hood
assembly and bolt in place. Make sure the tube is
orientated per the illustration.

2. Lift the hood assembly using the lift handles. Figure 3-9
3. Slide the hood assembly’s lower pivot pins into the slots
in the pivot mount assembly. Figure 3-11
4. Place your hands on the hood assembly as indicated in
Figure 3-9. By lifting with your left hand and pushing
down with your right hand, pivot the lid assembly up 90°
and over until the upper pins latch in the upper hood

WARNING
Allow engine and muffler to cool before assembling the
unit to the mower.
