3. Remove the pressure plate (A), the ball bearing (B),
the bushing (C) and bearing plate (D).

4. Clean the surfaces of all parts and lubricate
carefully.
5. Lubricate the ball bearing with grease. Refer to
Technical data on page 23
for correct type of
grease.
6. Assemble in the opposite sequence.
To replace the blades (BG 245)
WARNING: Before you replace the blades,
stop the product and let the engine become
cool.
1. Set the product in maintenance position. Refer to
To
set the product in maintenance position on page 15 .
2. Remove the screws (A) and replace the blades (B).

3. Lubricate the blade shafts. Refer to
To lubricate the
blade shafts on page 15 .
To replace the blades (BG 375)
WARNING: Before you replace the blades,
stop the product and let the engine become
cool.
1. Set the product in maintenance position. Refer to
To
set the product in maintenance position on page 15
.
2. Loosen the blades.
a) For blades that have quick release, pull out the
spring clips.
b) For blades that do not have quick release,
remove the screws.
3. Replace the blades.
a) If the blade has wear on one edge only, turn the
blade 180 degrees and put it back.
b) If the blade has wear on the front and rear edge,
replace with a new blade.
4. Lubricate the blade shafts. Refer to
To lubricate the
blade shafts on page 15 .
To replace the blades (BG 475)
WARNING: Before you replace the blades,
stop the product and let the engine become
cool.
Note: This type of blade is also available for (BG 375).
