When the desired temperature is reached, the cooling system will stop
working until the internal temperature rises enough to start the cooling cycle
once more.
The internal light may be switched on or off using the Light button on the
control panel. The light switches off automatically after ten minutes.
WHEN NOT IN USE
If the unit is not being used for long periods:
• Unplug your Husky appliance.
• Clean and dry the inside. Leave the door slightly open to allow it to
dry completely.
• A chiller which is unused without being cleaned may start to smell
musty or develop mildew.
DEFROSTING AND CLEANING
Defrosting
• The surface of the evaporator ices up when the cooler is working.
This is an entirely normal part of operation. If the frost layer is more
than 3mm /

” thick, the cooler must be defrosted and cleaned to
avoid unnecessary energy consumption and inefficient operation.
1. Remove all items inside and unplug the unit.
2. After defrosting, clean the unit (see instructions below) and allow it
to dry. Reconnecting to the mains supply then follow the directions
‘To operate‘ opposite).
Cleaning
1. Unplug your Husky appliance.
2. Wash the interior with warm water and neutral detergent.
3. Dry all surfaces thoroughly.
Note: Do not use abrasive cleaners!
To ensure efficient operation the back and bottom of the chiller should
be cleaned thoroughly. Use mild soapy water to clean the door seal.
Moving your Wine Slot Cooler
• Unplug the appliance
• Remove all items inside
Note: Never hold the appliance by the door.
Power Failure
• If a power cut occurs, do not open the door more often than
necessary in order to conserve cold air.
SPECIFICATIONS
• This appliance is designed as a cooler for drinks NOT food.
• It is intended strictly for domestic use.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
For added stability, we recommend you fit the two
stabilising legs supplied. Lay the unit on its back,
taking particular care to avoid scratching the unit or
the surface, and fit the stabiling legs using the four
screws supplied (see illustration left). Check the
unit is level using a spirit level.
Ensure your chosen location has a flat and stable
surface. Leave at least 2cm space all round the unit,
and 10cm space at the rear of the unit, for
ventilation. Choose a well-ventilated location
which is not exposed to direct sunlight, relatively
free from dust, humidity, and sources of heat.
Ensure the unit is plugged into its own dedicated
power socket. To guard from risk of overheating, do
not use extension leads or socket doublers.
Do not store unstable or inflammable materials
such as ether, benzine, liquid petroleum gas,
solvents or glues in the cooler.
To prevent from malfunction or electric shock, do
not place the cooler in a position where it may
come into contact with water.
TO OPERATE
Your Husky Wine Slot Cooler may be adjusted between 8 and 18°C.
The cooler will start to work when it is plugged in. Leave the appliance to run
for 30 minutes before making any manual adjustment. When turned on for
the first time the display will show the ambient temperature and the internal
temperature in turn. After 30 minutes you may then select a temperature of
your choice using the ‘Set Temperature Up’ and ‘Set Temperature Down’
buttons (see illustration below). The display will flash your selected temper-
ature for five seconds, then revert to indicate the internal temperature.
