4 Operation
• Using a suitable pen, mark the edge of the electrofu -
sion fitting (the length of pipe butt to be inserted into
the fitting) on the pipe.
• Unlock the locking lever and position the scraping
guide at the back.
• Push the pipe scraper onto the pipe all the way to the
vertical attachment and secure it by tightening the
vertical knob manually without too strong a force.
