Disconnect the device from the mains.

Do not immerse the device in water!

Make sure that the gaskets and drip tray are free of food residues. If necessary, wipe them
with a cloth dampened in a soapy water solution. Both the top and bottom gaskets can be
removed for cleaning.

The drip tray simplifies the cleaning process if a small amount of liquid accidentally enters
the vacuum chamber.

Clean the drip tray after each use. Wash it in a warm soapy water solution or in a
dishwasher. Wipe it dry before reinserting it.

Always keep the lid latches open. Never store the device with the latches closed, as this
will cause the gaskets to shrink and shorten their service life.
