10.5 Fixed Waterproof Probes
D920-P, D930-P and FD1-P units have been fitted with two variants of fixed waterproof probe
since 2008. The probes differ in the method of assembly and the parts used in their
construction. There is no difference in performance as both types of probe use the same PCB.
The waterproof probe first fitted to the D920-P, D930-P and FD1-P is the HSB series of probes.
The probe currently fitted in manufacturing to the D920-P, D930-P, FD1-P and the FD3-P is the
SP-7
726222 and SP-7
726224 series of probes.
The pictures below show how the different types of waterproof probes can be quickly identified
without the need for disassembly.
