9 • Completing Your Installation With or Without a Bowl Light Fixture (Continued)

Uninstalling the Light Fixture

9-9.  Remove the lower switch housing screws, then 

remove the lower switch housing. 

9-10.  Disconnect the male / female terminals on both white 

and black wires.

9-11.  Remove the wire connectors on both the white and 

black wires.

9-12.  Remove the nut and washer from inside the lower 

switch housing. Separate the light fixture from the 

lower switch housing. 

9-13.  Use the dummy terminals (included) to cover the 

ends of the black and white wires in the lower switch 

housing. The black wire receives the female dummy 

terminal, and the white wire receives the male dummy 

terminal.

9-14.  Install the switch housing cap and plug button to the 

lower switch housing.

9-15.  Store the light fixture, nut, washer, and lead wires for 

possible future use.
