2. Press and release the reset stem

3. Once the alternating OIL LIFE and

RESET messages appear, press and
hold the reset stem until several
beeps sound.

4. Turn the key to Off.

To program the door locks to operate
in one of three modes:
1. With the engine off, turn the key to

Lock. Do not remove the key.

2. Press and hold the power door lock

button for approximately three 
seconds until the DIC displays the
current door lock mode.

3. To view each next available mode,

press, hold for approximately two
seconds, and then release the 
reset stem.

4. Once the preferred mode is 

displayed, briefly press the reset
stem to set your choice. The DIC 
display will then clear.

proper maintenance of your vehicle.
The Oil Life System does not replace 
the need to follow the maintenance
schedule in the Owner Manual. For
service information, see Section 5 of
your Owner Manual.

To select the DIC language:
1. With the engine off, turn the key 

to On, but do not start the engine.

2. Close all doors.
3. Briefly press and release the reset

stem until the current language 
is displayed.

4. Press and hold the reset stem until 

the next language appears.

5. Repeat Step 4 until the desired      

language is displayed. The language
displayed will be set.

6. Briefly press and release the reset 

stem to exit the language selection.

Warnings and messages are displayed
on the DIC to notify the driver that the
status of the vehicle has changed and
that some action may be needed by 
the driver.
Each message must be acknowledged.
To acknowledge and clear a message
from the DIC, press and release the
reset stem.
If your Check Engine light, or any 
other warning message appears, you
can push the blue OnStar button and
speak to a live advisor. OnStar
Advisors can access certain diagnostic 
information and can tell you how
