Using the remote control

Code Entry

To use this method:

1. Find the three-digit code or codes for the type and brand of the component

you want to control (in this example,

). Refer to Appendix B –

Manufacturers device control codes,

on page 41.

2. If several codes are listed, you may have to try some or all of them.

After entering a code, press the remote control’s

POWER

button to test it.

The correct code turns the device on and off.

3. Press the device (

DVD, VCR, AUX, TV, SAT

) button again to lock the code.
