Attach backboard support brackets (37) to the
backboard frame using bolts (24), spacers (38),
and nuts (17) as shown

.

Attach lower elevator tubes (29) to backboard support brackets (37) using spacers
(59), bolt (20), and nut (42) as shown.  

NOTE: 

Rim mounting nuts (8) and bolts

(39) supplied with rim hardware.
