Setting GK
The GK functions as a bridge to transfer call information between videoconferencing
endpoints and the MCU, translates the addresses of the videoconferencing endpoints and the
MCU, and controls calls and bandwidth. The 8650 supports Built-In GK, you can set the
Built-In GK enabled and registers 8650 with it.
Step 1
Enable Built-In GK.
1.
Log in to the MCU web interface.
2.
Choose
Gatekeeper
>
Settings
.
3.
Select
Enable Built-In Gatekeeper
and set
GK ID
to
GK1
.
Remain other parameters the default values.
4.
Click
OK
.
Step 2
Register with GK.
1.
Log in to the MCU web interface.
2.
Choose
Settings
>
H.323 and SIP

Gatekeeper

3.
Set GK parameters listed in
