Context
You can perform this operation on a full-sized snapshot volume or a third-mirror break-off
snapshot volume but not on a space-optimized snapshot volume.
Procedure
Step 1
In the navigation tree, click the
Logical
tab.
Step 2
In the navigation tree, select the
Volume
node.
Step 3
Select the source volume that has snapshots.
Step 4
Select a snapshot volume of the source volume.
Step 5
On the menu bar, choose
Configuration
>
Snapshot
>
Separate Snapshot From Volume...
.
The
Warning
dialog box is displayed.
TIP
You can also perform this operation by pressing the right mouse button, and choose
SnapshotSeparate
Snapshot From Volume...
from the shortcut menu.
Step 6
Click
OK
.
The
Info
dialog box is displayed, stating "Operation succeeded."
