• The following actions may cause
malfunction or damage.
- Hitting or subjecting to strong impact
- Scratching or poking with pointed item
- Scratching with fingernail, strap metal,
etc.
- Scratching with mud, or muddying
surface
- Placing sticker on surface or letting
surface get ink on it
• If the fingerprint scanner is soiled with
dust or skin oil or wet with sweat or
condensation, etc., read of fingerprint may
be difficult or authentication performance
may degrade. Occasionally clean the
surface of the fingerprint scanner.
• If registration or authentication of
fingerprint fails frequently, clean the
surface of the fingerprint scanner. The
problem may be improved.
