To install the battery, do as follows: 

Step 1

 

Slide the battery cover down to remove it. 

Step 2

 

Insert the battery into the battery compartment. 

Step 3

 

Plug the battery connector into the receptacle in the battery compartment. 

Step 4

 

Slide the cover up until it snaps in place. 

Replacing the Battery 

If the battery life has reached its end or is damaged, you should replace the battery. 
Taking the following figure as a reference: 

 

 

To replace the battery, do as follows: 

Step 1

 

Slide the battery cover down to remove it. 

Step 2

 

Pull out the battery connector from the receptacle in the battery compartment. 

Step 3

 

Pull out the battery from the battery compartment. 

Step 4

 

Install a new battery, please see "Installing the Battery" on page 11. 

Step 5

 

Slide the cover up until it snaps in place.
