16.3.1 Why can't I open pre-installed apps (such as Phone and
Message) on my phone?

1. The NFF tool can be used to determine if your phone has been

rooted

or flashed. If this is

the case, the issue will be dealt with in line with company policies.

Here is an easy way to find out if your phone has been rooted:

Use a USB cable to connect your phone to a computer.

On a Windows computer, select

Start

Run

and type

cmd

then press

Enter

Type

adb shell

then hit

Enter

If there is a

at the end of the output, your phone hasn't been rooted.

If there is a

2. If you haven't rooted or flashed your phone, the problem could be due to a third-party app.
