6 Software Upgrade

Issue 1.0 (2013-07-22)

Huawei Proprietary and Confidential

When the screen shown in Figure 6-3 is displayed, the upgrade succeeds.

Step 4

Remove and then re-install the battery, and power on the phone.

If an error occurs during the upgrade, the screen shown in Figure 6-4 and the upgrade failure
cause will be displayed. If the upgrade failure cause is not displayed on the screen, send the

sdload.log

file in the

dload

folder to the R&D personnel.

During a microSD upgrade, some of the upgrade information is displayed on the screen, while
most information is saved in the

sdload.log

file.
