1.

Make sure to place the switch of the FWT in the OFF position.

2.

Align the indoor antenna with the antenna port on the FWT host in the
direction shown in Figure 4-3, and then screw the antenna, ensuring that the
connection is secure.

Viewing the receive signal strength

The FWT provides you with the function of measuring the receive signal strength,
specifically as follows:

1.

Searching the signal
Power on the FWT. Wait for a while, until the received signal strength
indicator appears or the dialing tone can be heard after you pick up the
handset. Five minutes later, if there is no signal indicator or the dialing tone,
please adjust the direction of the antenna. If the antenna is moved around
360

o

and there is still no signal indicator, it indicates that the signal condition

is really bad. Move the antenna to the direction where the dialing tone can be
heard after you pick up the handset.

2.

Viewing the signal strength
You can view the signal strength through the received signal strength
indicator on the display screen of the FWT. Refer to the "Display Screen
Description".

Mounting Mode

Horizontal Mode

When the FWT is placed horizontally, the place should be flat, shadowy and
ventilated to facilitate the FWT to eliminate heat.
