Configuring the eSpace 7803X
Logging In to the Web Configuration Page
The eSpace 7803X can be configured on the Web page of the IP phone. After the IP
phone automatically obtains the IP address, perform the following steps to access the
Web page.
Step 1
Press the
<OK>
key on the IP phone. On the phone status page that is
displayed, view the IP address of the IP phone.
Step 2
Start the Web browser (for example, the Microsoft Internet Explorer), enter
the phone's IP address in the address box, and press
Enter
.
The login page is displayed.
Step 3
Enter the default user name and password (both
user
) and click
OK
.
Step 4
Select
Phone
>
EXT Key
tab page (for eSpace 7830 and eSpace 7850).
The Web configuration page is displayed.
Select
DSS Key
>
EXT Key
tab page for eSpace 7870.
Configuring the eSpace 7803X on the Web Page
An eSpace 7803X has 20 keys. The switch function enables the eSpace 7803X to
provide a maximum of 38 programmable keys (excluding two switch keys). Each
eSpace 7803X key can be assigned with a certain function as required.
To assign a function to an extension key on the Web page, proceed as follows:
Step 1
Select an extension key to be configured.
If two eSpace 7803Xs connect to the IP phone, they are numbered 1 and 2.
Step 2
Set key parameters such as
Type
,
Value
,
Label
, and
Line
.
Step 3
Click
Confirm
to save the settings.
