3.8 Installing Switch Modules or Pass-Through Modules

The procedure for installing a pass-through module is the same as that for installing a switch
module.

During operations, wear protective gloves to prevent personal injury.

Procedure

Step 1

Determine the slots for installing the switch modules or pass-through modules.

A maximum of four switch modules or pass-through modules can be installed in an E9000
chassis. 

Figure 3-24

 shows the slot numbers of the switch modules or pass-through modules.
