If the main PCB provides a voltage higher than 1.4 V to the OTG, the maximum current on
the charging interface is limited to 500 mA during initial charging. After the PM8029 detects
the charging process, the system software disables the maximum current limit. The

Troubleshooting
Fault symptom: The G510 fails to be charged due to either of the following causes:

A charger is connected to the G510 but the G510 does not respond.

The G510 displays the charging icon on the screen but in fact the battery fails to be
charged.
Handling: Check whether the I/O battery connector is damaged. Troubleshoot the fault
according to the process shown in Figure 9-9.
