8.3.7 Installing a pRRU on Steel Hangers

This section describes how to install a pRRU on steel hangers.

Context

Either M6 or M8 steel hangers can be used for installation.

Procedure

Step 1

Determine the position for installing the pRRU based on the construction blueprint and the
clearance requirements.

For details about the clearance requirements, see 8.1.3 Space Requirements.

Step 2

Install two steel hangers onto the ceiling. A distance of 90 mm must be retained between the
two hangers, as shown in Figure 8-32.
