The cable connection methods for different models are similar. Therefore, the following section
takes the ViewPoint 9039 and the HUAWEI VP9039A as examples.

Figure 1-15

shows the cable connection of the ViewPoint 9039 and the HUAWEI VP9039A in

the simplest configuration. With the following cable connection, the terminal outputs HD video
and uses the local area network (LAN) for communications. An HD camera is used for HD video
input and a microphone array is used for audio input.

The configuration details are as follows:

l

Video input: Use the BNC-SMB cable provided, connect the HD SDI video output interface
of a camera to the HD IN 1 interface of the terminal. Then connect the COM 1 interface of
the terminal to the camera control interface using the camera control cable.

l

Computer desktop input: Connect the HD IN 3 interface of the terminal to the VGA output
interface of the computer using the DVI-SXGA cable provided.

l

Audio input: Connect the MIC LAN-POE interface of the terminal to the microphone array
using the POE cable (both provided).

l

Video output: Connect the HD OUT 1 interface of the terminal to the HDMI input interface
of an HD TV using the DVI-HDMI cable provided.

l

Video output: To independently output presentation contents, connect the HD OUT 2
interface of the terminal to the VGA input interface of a projector using the DVI-SXGA
cable provided.
