Getting Started
The HTC BH M400 is easy to operate. The answer/end button on the headset performs different
functions depending on how long you press it.

Charge your headset
Before using BH M400 for the first time, you need to charge it by the supplied micro USB cable with your
phone charger
for
about 8 hours. Normal
charge
is approximately 3.5 hours. Note: The
LED is solid red
while
charging.
The
LED is solid blue
when the
battery
is
fully charged.
2. Power ON
Press the action/power key until
Blue LED comes on
(it will then stay on for 3 seconds)
3. Power OFF
Press the action/power key until the
Red LED comes on
(it will then stay on for 3 seconds)
Note:
You can also switch the headset off during a call by long press the action/power key. The call will be
transferred to your mobile phone.
4. Auto OFF @ battery too low
The headset must automatically turn OFF when the battery level gets too low, in order to avoid unpredictable
Hardware behaviour.
