2 GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This manual is referred to the models
HT53 and HT53/05 . The only difference
between two models is the different
typology of output terminal: cables with
4mm safety banana (HT53) or cables with
4mm safety banana and ABNACON
adapter with Hypertac connector
(HT53/05). Unless otherwise specified, the
“instrument” or “probe” word referred to
HT53 model.
The instrument is a illuminance to voltage
converter. The probe is battery operated
and designed to provide a direct illuminace
reading when connected to any high
impedance digital multimeter (DMM) that
accepts shrouded banana plugs and has
1mVDC resolution and at least
2000mVDC full scale readout capability.
The probe provides a fast and convenient
way to measure illuminance in normal
ambient conditions. It is ideal for spot
surveying in any application where
illuminance measurements are important.
The output is:

1mVDC for 0.01Lux (range 20Lux)

1mVDC for 1Lux (range 2kLux)

1mVDC for 10Lux (range 20kLux)
