Most HSS Bench Tile Saws plug into a standard
13amp power socket. However, 110V models

or powered from the mains via

a suitable 110V transformer (minimum 3kvA tool rating).

If the equipment fails, or if its flex or plug gets
damaged, return it.

Never try to repair it yourself.

Keep flexes out of harm’s way,

them through water, over sharp edges or where they
could trip someone.

This equipment relies on a water supply to aid the
cutting process, you are therefore advised to use an
RCD. Please take note of the following paragraph.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, use a

suitable RCD

(Residual Current-Operated Device)

available from your local HSS Hire Shop, or power 240V
(Not 110V) equipment from a power circuit with a
built-in RCD.

Never carry or pull the equipment by its flex.

Ensure the machine and power socket are
switched OFF before plugging into the
power supply.

There are two models available, one with a
removable lid and another with a removable side
reservoir

(see illustration).

Remove the clip-on lid and fill the water reservoir

up to the small hole in its side,

replace the lid and fit

the required guide table ensuring it is held
securely by the two thumb screws…

…or, undo the two hand screws either end of
the unit

(see diagram),

withdraw the reservoir, fill

to the small hole and then carefully replace.
Ensure the feed hose from the pump has not
been disconnected.

Then adjust the mitre setting by loosening the
guide clamps at the front and rear of the unit,
making sure that they are secured correctly once
the angle is reached.

Both Models.....
Set the guide bar to the correct width of cut
required, this distance should be for the piece
required and not for the waste piece.

Now plug the machine into its power supply and
switch ON, ensuring the unit’s switch is in the
OFF position.
