GU10 240V halogen downlights can damage the time delay switch when they fail, and are therefore not recommended for use with
this product.
** Compact and linear fluorescent lamps may flicker in the “off” state if the minimum load requirement is not satisfied. A minimum
load of 10W can be achieved if a resistive load is connected in parallel with the fluorescent load. This can be, for example, a resistor
or incandescent lamp rated at least 10W.
*** Power factor correction capacitors must be placed on the line side of the time delay switch. If this is not possible then they should
either be removed, or a 36W magnetic ballast should be connected in parallel with the fluorescent load, to prevent damage to the
time delay switch.
**** Refer to the following table for VA ratings when power factor correction is not used:
•
Selectable time delay
Choose from a 1, 3 or 10 minute delay period
using the switch on the back of the unit.
• Direct replacement for pneumatic switches
No change in wiring is required.
• Multiple push buttons
Connect NX770M remote push buttons
as shown in the wiring diagram to enable
switching from several locations.
• Illuminated push button
Push button glows red when unit is off, so
that it can easily be located in the dark. Not
available for remote push buttons.
• Weatherproof (TD170/1 only)
Rated IP56.
• Ease of installation
XLTD770/1 and TD170/1 fit all standard
mounting accessories.
