• Remove the Composer from the frame.
• Remove the Image Streamer from the frame.
2. Remove the heatsink, unfastening the four captive screws in a diagonal fashion.
3. If you are reusing the processor or heatsink, remove the thermal grease with an alcohol swab.
4. Push down and out on the load lever.
5. Lift the load plate.
6. Remove the processor.
Take special note of the gold triangle on one corner and the notches on two sides of the processor. The processor must be
installed in the same orientation in which it was removed or it may be destroyed.
CAUTION: To avoid damage to the processor, do not touch the bottom of the processor, especially the contact area.
To replace the component
1. Install the processor. Verify that the processor is aligned with the notches and the corner triangle by visually inspecting the
installation guides.
THE PINS ON THE SYSTEM BOARD ARE VERY FRAGILE AND EASILY DAMAGED.
