Remove the middle frame

Prerequisites

Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have the following tools available:

• T-15 Torx screwdriver
• Flathead screwdriver

Procedure

1.

Remove the RJ-11 port blank.

Retain the blank for later use.

2.

Remove the middle frame from the server:

a.

Remove the screws and standoffs securing the middle frame.

b.

Lift the middle frame from the system board.

Remove the middle frame
