Controller issues flowchart
Symptom
• The array controller is not visible during the POST process.
• The Smart Array controller shows errors during the POST process.
Cause
• The hardware is physically damaged.
• The controller is not supported on the server.
• The controller is faulty.
• The controller is not supported by the PCIe slot.
• The processor is not installed for the PCIe slot where the controller is installed.
• The firmware is outdated.
Action
