If an expansion board with internal cabling is installed on the riser cage, disconnect these internal
cables from the expansion board.

Remove the primary riser cage.
Remove the primary riser blank
CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the server unless
either riser blank or the riser cage is installed.
Prerequisites
Before you perform this procedure, make sure that you have a T-10 Torx screwdriver available.
