Setting the LLDP reinitialization delay
When the LLDP operating mode changes on a port, the port initializes the protocol state machines
after an LLDP reinitialization delay. By adjusting the delay, you c an avoid frequent initializa tions
caused by frequent changes to the LLDP operating mode on a port.
To set the LLDP reinitialization delay for ports:

Enabling LLDP polling
With LLDP polling enabled, a device periodically searches for local configuration changes. When the
device detects a configuration change, it sends LLDP frames to inform neigh boring devices of the
change.
