Install the hard drive into the server. Be sure that the hard drive seats firmly into the connector
in the back of the drive cage.

“SAS and SATA hard drive LED combinations”

Installing DVD or CD drive

The server is shipped with one DVD drive. You can install an optional DVD drive or CD drive.

To remove a DVD, CD drive or blank:
1.

Power down the server (

).

2.

Extend the server from the rack (

“Extending the server from the rack” (page 31)

).

3.

Remove the access panel (
