Removing and replacing the processor mezzanine tray

Procedure

Power down the server (

Power down the server

on page 33).

Remove all power:

Disconnect each power cord from the power source.

Disconnect each power cord from the server.

Do one of the following:

• Extend the server from the rack (

Before performing this procedure, Hewlett Packard Enterprise recommends

identifying the processor-

heatsink module components

Procedure

Observe the following alerts.

CAUTION:

When handling the heatsink, always hold it along the top and bottom of the fins. Holding it from the
sides can damage the fins.
