
Removal and Replacement Procedures
8. Remove the plastic fan baffle (1), and disconnect the SCSI backplane cable from the
system board (2).
CAUTION: For local I/O cable server models, be sure the LED board cable is not disengaged
when removing the fan baffle. When reinstalling the fan baffle, be sure cable is fully seated.
NOTE: The fan baffle is most easily removed at a 45
˚
angle. Depending on the server model, the fan
baffle may be attached to the system board with a small plastic clip.

Reverse steps 1 through 8 to replace the SCSI backplane.
