Installing the Power Supply
N o t e
The Switch GL/XL Redundant Power Supply does not have a power switch. It
is powered on when the power cord is connected to the supply and to a power
source.
Please see the “Installation Cautions” on page 2.
5. Verify that the power supply is installed correctly by checking the
LEDs on the front of the switch.
The Power Status LED for the power supply you have just installed will
be blinking simultaneously with the Fault LED until that new power
supply is connected to an AC power source. Once it is connected to AC
power, the Power Status LED will be on continuously and not blinking,
and the Fault LED will stop blinking.
If the Power Status LED and the switch Fault LED continue blinking after
the power supply is connected to AC power, see “Troubleshooting” on the
next page.
