NOTE:
The Bluetooth module spare part kit does not include a Bluetooth module cable. The Bluetooth
module cable is included in the Cable Kit, spare part numbers 613352-001.

Before removing the Bluetooth module, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer. If you are unsure whether the computer is off or in Hibernation, turn the
computer on, and then shut it down through the operating system.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet,
and then unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the battery (see
Battery on page 79
).
5.
Remove the accessory cover (see
Mass storage device on page 83
).
Remove the Bluetooth module:
1.
Loosen the Phillips PM2.0×6.0 captive screw
(1)
that secures the Bluetooth module compartment
cover to the computer.
2.
Lift the Bluetooth module compartment cover
(2)
straight up to remove it. The Bluetooth module
compartment cover is included in the Plastics Kit, spare part numbers 613343-001 (for use only
on computer models equipped with a 14.0-in display assembly) and 613344-001 (for use only on
computer models equipped with a 15.6-in display assembly).
