Release the hard drive connector cable from the zero insertion force (ZIF) connector (1) on the system
board.

Remove the hard drive connector cable from the ZIF connector (2).

Lift the top edge of the hard drive upward (3).

Slide the hard drive toward the top of the computer (4), then remove it from the computer.

Disassemble the hard drive:

Remove the bracket (1) from the sides of the hard drive.

Remove the hard drive connector cable (2) from the hard drive.

Reverse this procedure to install the hard drive.
