Access the device through your Web browser on the same
subnet by typing the following URL: http://192.0.0.192.

Follow the instructions on the screen:

User Parameters: configure a User Administrator

Network Parameters: Web Console IP address, system name
The Console will then reboot automatically.

Now you can connect the serial cable (diagram C p. 4).

Resetting the Configuration

It may be necessary to reset your HP Secure Web Console to the
factory settings if, for example, the password has been lost.
Warning! All configuration data will be lost.

1.

Power off the console by unplugging the power cable.

2.

Press the button on the top of the console (as shown in
diagram D) and keep it pressed.

3.

Power on the box by replugging the power cable.

4.

Release the button after a couple of seconds.

Follow the Initial Configuration steps again.

a. route add 192.0.0.192 <client_host IP address>

Example: route add 192.0.0.192 15.128.122.12

b. ping 192.0.0.192. If ping is successful, follow the

    instructions Step 7, else proceed with Step c below.

   The MAC address of the HP Secure Web Console is
   marked on the top of the device and also on the box used
   for shipment.

During the configuration of your HP Secure Web Console,

you must configure an IP gateway in the “configure IP” screen.
If you do not have a valid IP gateway, enter the same IP
address as you entered for the HP Secure Web Console.
