Replacing the MegaRAID iTBBU02 Battery

Test procedure 

1. 

Turn on the core server. 

2. 

After completion of the power-up sequence, log in using the Unicorn account. 

3. Select 

Start

 and 

Run

. 

4. Type 

cmd

 and click 

OK

. The 

Command Prompt

 window appears. 

 

 
5. 

At the DOS prompt, type 

megacli –AdpBbuCmd –GetBbuStatus –a0

 and press 

Enter

. 

 

6. Examine 

the 

Command Prompt

 window: 

•

 

If the above information appears, the battery is connected properly. 

•

 

If “Invalid input" appears, check the spelling of the command in step 5. 

•

 

If a blank line appears, the battery is not connected properly. Perform the procedure 
again.
