SIM board
To remove the SIM board:
1.
Prepare the computer for disassembly (see
Preparing to disassemble the computer on page 37
).
2.
Remove the hand strap (see

Remove the rear cover (see
).
4.
Disconnect the battery (see
).
5.
Remove the display (see
).
6.
From the back of the chassis, disconnect the cable from the system board (1).
7.
From the front of the chassis, remove the SIM insert from the SIM board (1).
8.
Remove the screw that secures the SIM board to the computer (2), and the lift the board out of the
computer (3).
To install the SIM board, reverse the removal procedures.
