Removing the Media Module
CAUTION:
Do not attempt to remove the media module while power is applied to
the system. The module is not hot-pluggable. Immediate system shutdown and data
loss will occur.
To remove the media module:
1.
If the server is on, back up your data and power down the server. Refer to
Chapter 7.
2.
Disconnect the power cords from the server.
3.
Press in the sides of the cam levers on the media module (1) and rotate the tops
of the levers downward (2), as shown in Figure 3-8.
4.
Pull the media module out of the chassis until the module makes contact with the
module stop latches (3).
