Using Your Monitor
The on/off switch
is on the front of the monitor.
You can adjust the quality, position, size and shape of the displayed
image using the controls on the front of the monitor.
Your monitor is automatically demagnetized each time it is switched
ON. This ensures color purity. To maintain color purity, we recommend
that each week you switch the display off for at least 30 minutes before
switching it on again.
Adjusting the Quality of the Displayed Image
Contrast
To adjust the contrast, press the
button to release the control,
rotate to achieve required contrast, then press again to hide the control.
Contrast is the difference in brightness between the dark and light parts
of the displayed image.
Brightness
To adjust the overall picture brightness, press the
button to release
the control, rotate to achieve required brightness, then press again to
hide the control. The brightness should be set so that the dark areas of
the displayed image remain black.
