Removal and Replacement Procedures

Maintenance and Service Guide

3. Remove the two Phillips PM2.0×3.0 screws

that secure the

modem module to the system board.

4. Lift the rear edge of the modem module

to disconnect it

from the system board.

5. Disconnect the modem module cable

from the

modem module.

The modem module cable is included in the modem module
spare part kit and is also available in the Cable Kit, spare part
number 412753-001.

6. If it is necessary to replace the modem module cable,

disconnect the cable

from the system board.

Removing the Modem Module

Reverse the above procedure to install the modem module.
