The operator control panel includes four LEDs that indicate system status information as shown in

Ready
. Illuminated when power is on. Blinking when there is tape drive or robotics activity.
Green
1.
Clean
. Illuminated when the tape drive has determined that a cleaning cartridge should be used.
Cleaning is only necessary when the device directs you to do so. Additional cleaning is not
necessary.
Amber
2.
Attention
. Illuminated if the device has detected a condition that requires attention by the operator.

Error
. Illuminated if an unrecoverable error occurs. A corresponding error message displays on
the LCD screen (see
for more information).

The back panel provides access to the drive interface connectors, the tape drive, the power
connector, the Ethernet, serial and USB ports, and the magazine release holes as shown in
